Whenever a severe tropical storm or hail event rolls across the Texas Gulf Coast, out-of-state "storm-chaser" contractors descend on our neighborhoods. They knock on doors, make wild promises to waive deductibles, hire untrained day labor to slap on cheap shingles, and skip the critical Texas Department of Insurance (WPI-8) inspections.
Six months later, when the first heavy tropical rain arrives and ceilings start leaking, those out-of-state contractors have disconnected their numbers. Homeowners are left with no warranty, ruined attics, and voided insurance policies.
We created SSB Roofing to be the antidote. Founded and led by Jeremiah and Salina, we are your Texas neighbors.
